Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

Richemont is seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our Financial Control and Reporting (FC&R) team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial data in accordance with international accounting standards and Richemont policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure financial information is accurate and complies with IFRS, KSA regulatory standards, and Richemont's financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct reviews of general ledger accounts to verify the accuracy of financial information and perform general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Post general ledger entries that have been reviewed and verified, including supporting information.
  • Enter financial data into general ledger accounts on a monthly basis and prepare reports that support decision-making processes.
  • Continuously review processes and procedures to identify improvements and advances that increase processing efficiency and minimize risk.
Collaboration and Communication:

You will work closely with Maisons and Functions to gather, analyze, and interpret financial information, providing insights that aid decision-making. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your ability to plan and manage time, will enable you to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional certification and qualification an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in general ledger accounting, and audit experience a plus.
  • Experience in the retail industry would be beneficial.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong accounting background.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting systems, especially SAP.
  • Knowledge of International Accounting Standards/IFRS.
  • Good understanding of KSA VAT regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software (Teams, SharePoint, and other applications).
