Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Manager - Contracts. As a Senior Manager - Contracts, you will play a critical role in managing the contracts and legal aspects of our real estate projects, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Management: Oversee the contracting process for real estate projects, including the review, negotiation, and execution of contracts.
- Collaboration and Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, finance, and legal, to ensure alignment of contract terms with project requirements.
- Contract Development: Develop and maintain contract templates, policies, and procedures to streamline the contracting process.
- Contractual Guidance: Provide expert guidance and advice on contractual matters, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Vendor Management: Manage contractor and vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance standards.
- Contract Performance Monitoring: Monitor contract performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues that may arise.
- Change Order Management: Manage change orders and variations to contracts, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in contract management.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to the contracts team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in contract management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
- Contractual Knowledge: Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record in managing complex contracts and vendor relationships.
- Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Time Management: Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in contract management software and tools.
