Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Admin to join our team at SENIOR SPIRIT OF ROSELLE PARK. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring the security and compliance of our systems, and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Microsoft 365 Environment Management
    • Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other Office 365 applications.
  • Security and Compliance
    • Administer and support Microsoft 365 E5 license features, focusing on identity management, security, and compliance.
    • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity, access management, and integrated enterprise applications.
    • Ensure proper configuration and maintenance of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Cloud Security and Monitoring
    • Configure and manage MS365 security features, including Advanced Threat Protection (ATP), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Conditional Access policies.
    • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
  • System Administration
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of systems by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair.
    • Administer the Service Desk system for IT service management.
    • Manage and deploy patches using Patch Manager tools to ensure all systems and security patches are up-to-date and secure.
  • Backup and Recovery
    • Develop, maintain, and monitor backup procedures for all host operating systems and host-based applications.
    • Perform regular backup and recovery tests to ensure data can be restored as needed.
  • Network and Communication
    • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network problems and escalate issues to vendors.
    • Manage the communication rooms, including network hardware, firewalls, software, and equipment such as air-conditioning systems and UPS.
  • Qualifications and Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
    • At least 4-6 years of experience in a similar role within a medium to large enterprise environment.
    • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
    • ITIL Foundation Certification.
    • Hands-on experience with other Microsoft cloud services, such as Microsoft Information Protection and Microsoft Defender.
    • Familiarity with other backup and disaster recovery solutions.
    • Experience with cloud environments.
    • Extensive knowledge of LAN, WAN, and network equipment.
  • Desirable Skills
    • Strong and broad technical IT skills and cloud experience.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
    • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
    • Strong adherence to corporate standards and strict procedures.
    • Ability to learn and utilize new concepts quickly.
    • Good English, team-playing attitude, interpersonal skills, and autonomy.
