Electrical Construction Manager Job Description

Alghad is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee the electrical works of district cooling plants and central cooling plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with electrical subcontractors, clients, and local authorities to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality electrical works.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and oversee the execution of electrical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.
  2. Coordinate with stakeholders to plan and execute electrical works, including material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
  3. Review and approve electrical works, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  4. Track progress and expedite electrical contractors to meet project deadlines.
  5. Manage costs associated with electrical works, including material procurement and vendor management.
  6. Perform quantity calculations and produce AutoCAD schematics, sketches, and drawings for engineering design and reports.

Requirements:

  1. Graduated in Electrical Engineering.
  2. UAE and/or Qatar experience is a must, preferably with 7+ years of field experience in construction.
  3. Contractor experience is essential.
  4. District Cooling Experience is recommended.
  5. Previous experience as Electrical Construction Manager in industrial projects involving Medium Voltage works is desirable.
  6. Fluent in English and proficient in AutoCAD 2D and MS Office.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Experience in Quality Control.
  2. Experience in Testing and commissioning.
  3. Experience with Instrumentation and control installation.
