About the Role:

The Business Growth Manager - Merchant Partnerships is a critical position that requires a unique blend of sales, marketing, and relationship-building skills. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new merchants, drive revenue growth, and enhance the overall success of our gift card solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchant Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring a seamless integration with our platform.
  • Partnership Development: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at merchant organizations to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats that can impact our business.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, alignment, and execution of business objectives.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our merchant acquisition efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, increase revenue, and expand our merchant base.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with merchants, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in business development, merchant acquisition sales, and partnerships.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth through successful partnerships.
  • Skill Set:
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
    • Strong analytical skills, good in Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Relationship management skills.
