About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hospitality Team Member to join our team at Sunset Hospitality Group. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience at our vibrant social entertainment center, Carttel.

Main Responsibilities
  • Represent the Restaurant: Provide high levels of customer service to all diners to ensure they have a memorable experience and return again.
  • Take Orders and Deliver Food: Take orders and deliver food to customers at the table in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure Positive Service: Ensure all guests receive positive and professional service to the highest standards to exceed the customer's expectations.
  • Follow Sequence of Service: Follow sequence of service standards as per brand guidelines.
  • Menu Knowledge: Have a complete and thorough knowledge of all menu items in order to be able to describe and make suggestive selling to customers.
  • Food Quality and Consistency: Ensure food quality and consistency is delivered at all times.
  • Table Management: Manage the setup and close down of tables within section.
  • Turnaround Time: Ensure tables are turned around and ready with minimal delay.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with cashier to handle order invoices and tips accurately.
  • Workstation Maintenance: Keep all workstations and equipment as clean as possible at all times.
  • Communication: Attend all regular departmental briefings and contribute to open communication within the assigned team.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
  • Language Skills: Good command of English.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer Orientation: Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and a smiling face.
  • Team Player: Cooperative and self-giving team player.
  • Stress Management: Ability and willingness to perform under stress.
  • Energy Level: Positive and high energy level.
Job Requirements
  • Physical Handling: Physical handling of products such as handling trays.
  • Shift Coverage: Covering different shifts and working during public holidays.
  • Stressful Conditions: Ability to work under stressful conditions.
  • Standing for Long Hours: Standing for long hours.
