About the Role:
The Patient Services Representative I is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment. This includes greeting patients, checking them in, and preparing them for their appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Verify patient information and update records as needed
- Process copayments and register patients in the billing system
- Prepare paperwork for patient visits and verify benefits and eligibility
- Collect necessary payments and fees from patients
- Monitor patient flow and adjust workflows as needed
- Act as a liaison between patients, guests, and clinical staff
- Reconcile cash and credit card transactions
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- File and maintain accurate patient records
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures
