Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Operation Engineer to join our team at Giza Systems KSA. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for providing second-level support for our IT systems and applications, resolving complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level technical support for our IT systems and applications, resolving complex issues and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Incident Management: Monitor system performance and respond to incidents in a timely manner, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform thorough root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution, promoting a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update documentation for troubleshooting procedures and knowledge base articles, ensuring that critical information is readily available to the team.
  • Infrastructure Management: Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and applications, ensuring that systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • IT Service Management: Implement and follow IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices, ensuring that our IT services are delivered in accordance with industry standards.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training for first-level support staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess intermediate-level technical knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and other relevant technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Time Management: Possess great time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
