Regional Relationship Manager

This role involves developing and driving the implementation of ITFC's strategies for trade financing in the private sector, primarily in West and Central Africa regions. The role requires managing client relationships, overseeing the end-to-end implementation of investment processes, and ensuring adherence to ITFC's risk guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Main Responsibilities- Origination (Business Development):
- Develop and implement strategies for trade financing in designated markets.
- Liaise with prospective clients to build awareness around ITFC's trade finance products and services.
- Source and assess opportunities, grow and develop new/existing business relationships.
- Analyze client needs, structure transactions, and draft Term Sheets in line with relevant guidelines.
- Evaluate associated risks and validate client financial standing and risk exposure.
- Prepare Credit Memoranda, clarify terms and conditions, and coordinate communications between clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough risk evaluations, incorporate mitigating clauses, and present deals in Credit Committee meetings.
