About the Role:

As a Field Clinical Specialist at Edwards Lifesciences, you will play a pivotal role in developing clinical education materials and providing expertise on our transcatheter heart valve replacement (TAVR) devices. Your responsibility will be to ensure that cardiologists and clinical teams have the necessary knowledge to effectively utilize our products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver clinical education programs for healthcare professionals, ensuring they have the required skills to use our TAVR devices effectively.

  • Certify centers, physicians, and other staff members as per Edwards Lifesciences' Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Interact with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and proctors to promote the adoption of our TAVR technology.

  • Educate and train medical professionals on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools, and products required for device implants.

  • Design and improve training curricula, materials, and tools based on clinical trial experiences, Edwards Lifesciences guidelines, and SOPs.

  • Analyze business intelligence data to identify trends and areas for growth within focused accounts.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Management teams to plan and implement growth strategies within key accounts.

  • Upsell in strategic accounts by working closely with Business Managers.

  • Stay updated on product knowledge, physiology, anatomy, market applications, and Edwards Lifesciences operations.

  • Monitor clinical support activities, changes in the market, and assigned accounts, along with competitive activity.

  • Familiarize yourself with the structural heart business landscape in Saudi Arabia.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in medical device sales and/or clinical roles.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

  • Moderate understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.

  • Moderate understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability, and adverse events reporting.

  • Training experience in clinical or technical environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to operate general office equipment.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills, including negotiating and relationship management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

  • Attention to detail is essential.

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.

  • Capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects.

  • Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.

  • Fulfillment of all company rules and requirements, including pandemic protocols and Environmental Health & Safety regulations.
