Job Summary

Genesis Home Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Housekeeping Section. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of services provided to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operations Management: Manage the operations of the Housekeeping Section staff, overseeing activities and establishing work procedures and quality standards.
  2. Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Plan and develop work schedules to ensure optimum utilization of section resources, assigning subordinate staff to complete tasks.
  3. Quality Control: Conduct inspections of hospital facilities to ensure cleanliness, evaluate deficiencies in established standards, and take corrective action.
  4. Performance Management: Evaluate performance of subordinate staff, counsel subordinates or take remedial action to correct deficiencies, and recommend disciplinary action if necessary.
  5. Training and Development: Ensure that subordinates receive appropriate training in housekeeping practices, and are familiar with the philosophy and practices of integrated pest management and hospital waste management.
  6. Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in planning and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  7. Financial Management: Assist with budget preparation and maintain records.
  8. Compliance: Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  9. Professional Development: Participate in self and other educational training and development as applicable.
Requirements
  1. Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Environmental Health, Business Administration, or other related discipline.
  2. Experience: Three (3) years of related experience with Master's or five (5) years with Bachelor's Degree, including two (2) years at a supervisory/senior position.
  3. Certifications: Saudi National Only, Certified member of the International Executive Housekeepers Association, or Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP).
  4. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
