About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing purchase orders, status reports, and coordination activities efficiently, in a timely manner, and with quality standards as per defined policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing Operations:
    • Negotiate quotations from suppliers based on specifications mentioned in purchase requests.
    • Develop a consolidated database of new and competent suppliers to meet current and future needs.
    • Review market trends, prices, delivery conditions, and determine present and future material availability.
  • Order Management:
    • Approve purchase orders and initiate payments as per competency.
    • Cross-check invoices against orders at the time of initiating any payment.
    • Support all departments by coordinating timely advance payments to suppliers.
  • Logistics Support:
    • Ensure timely delivery of quality products and assist the logistics section in this regard.
    • Maintain updated knowledge of KSA customs and clearance policies, administrative regulations, and legal requirements related to purchasing goods.
  • Reporting and Performance:
    • Prepare daily status reports of purchase requests and discuss them with the concerned manager on a weekly basis.
    • Implement QMS policies and procedures and report any minor/major non-conformity to the immediate manager.
