Asterix Communications is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and expanding our MEP & Fire Systems Contracting & Maintenance services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new business leads and sales opportunities for the company.
- Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives to research and identify new clients and business opportunities.
- Coordinate meetings with clients, operations team, and business development team as required.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
- Prepare and follow up on proposals, agreements, and supporting documents for clients.
- Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, processing information, completing paperwork, and filing documents for the business development department.
- Liaise between the technical team and operations team to provide suitable services to clients, considering cost and time restraints.
- Coordinate with tenders and pricing to prepare and deliver presentations according to company specifications and standards.
- Prepare reports on progress within the department and outline strategies to improve.
- Maintain records of proposals and track activities throughout the department.
- Prepare reports on pipeline, submitted proposals, achieved targets, and other periodic reports as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with construction projects of MEP & Fire Systems in commercial and industrial sectors.
- Marketing experience.
- Ability to understand engineering designs and drawings.
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.
