Job Description

Asterix Communications is seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our high-rise construction projects in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise construction projects, ensuring alignment with the project's objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  3. Direction and Support: Provide direction, support, and mentorship to ensure team efficiency and productivity.
  4. Project Budgeting: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets.
  5. Cost Management: Ensure that all projects are delivered within approved financial parameters and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest standards of quality.
  7. Inspections and Compliance: Oversee inspections, quality control processes, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  8. Safety Protocols: Implement and enforce safety protocols across all projects to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
  10. Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
  11. Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships, provide regular project updates, and address any concerns or requests promptly.
  12. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  13. Project Risk Management: Monitor project risks throughout the construction process and implement necessary actions to minimize impact.
  14. Contract Negotiations: Oversee contract negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  15. Contract Management: Ensure all contractual obligations are met and manage any disputes or changes effectively.
  16. Construction Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed construction schedules.
  17. Resource Coordination: Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials, labor, and resources.
  18. Innovative Construction: Integrate innovative construction methods and sustainable practices into high-rise projects to enhance efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and meet client and regulatory expectations.
  19. Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management, stakeholders, and clients.
  20. Transparency and Accountability: Ensure transparency and accountability in project performance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of successfully delivering high-rise projects on time and within budget.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Construction Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Contract Negotiation: Experience with contract negotiation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Construction Software: Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or similar are advantageous.
