The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced mid-level Sales Representative to join our committed sales team. The prospective applicant will be responsible for fostering product sales, maintaining client relationships and ensuring the satisfaction of customer needs to further propel the growth of Asia Plastics & Packaging in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospective clients by providing exceptional customer service.
- Deliver engaging presentations of our products to potential customers and lead sales negotiations.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to adapt sales strategies and maintain knowledge of the industry trends.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions and networking events to expand the company's client base.
- Strive towards meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the management regularly.
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field.
- Three to five years of proven experience in sales, ideally within the plastics or manufacturing industry.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills along with ability to build relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; any Asian language proficiency would be advantageous.
Nice-to-Haves
- Proven experience in B2B and B2C sales.
- Prior exposure to Asia's plastic or manufacturing market.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Confident public speaker.
- Willingness to undertake travel for client meetings and tradeshows.
