Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Telecommunications Engineer Assistant to join our team at Acuative Middle East. This role involves working in a 24/7 shift-based environment to detect and resolve network issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and critical IT systems to detect performance issues and outages.
  2. Respond to network alerts, investigate incidents, and perform initial troubleshooting to resolve minor issues.
  3. Escalate unresolved technical issues to L2/L3 teams and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
  4. Maintain incident logs and documentation for tracking network performance and issue resolution.
  5. Assist in network device configuration, software updates, and patch management under supervision.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Understanding of Routing & Switching concepts.
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux system basics.
