About This Job:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the AWS team as a Resilience and Risk Engineer. As a key member of the Data Centre Supply Solutions (DCCS) team, you will play a leading role in guiding the expansion of AWS facilities and services in new and existing regions across APAC by delivering site selection risk analysis and due diligence assessments.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver site selection risk analysis and due diligence assessments to guide the expansion of AWS facilities and services in new and existing regions across APAC.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop preliminary designs for AWS sites, considering real estate, engineering, construction, policy, environmental, planning, and business development factors.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize risks and mitigations, ensuring the continuous improvement of AWS infrastructure resilience. A strong understanding of local standards and council design standards is essential for success in this role.
