About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to join our team at Jobs for Humanity. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading large-scale Arts & Culture projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project management frameworks and execution plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design teams, to facilitate effective communication and outcomes.
  • Oversee the technical and commercial performance of projects, including budget control, risk management, and value management.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including direct reports, to ensure the achievement of project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve disputes quickly and reasonably, taking the lead role in the resolution of any disputes that may arise.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale Arts & Culture projects.
  • 20+ years of experience in project management, with a strong background in construction management and/or civil engineering.
  • Membership or chartership from a construction-related professional body.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate project teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
