As a Firefighter - KSA (Talent Pool) at Serco, you will play a critical role in responding to emergency situations and performing various fire/rescue duties. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the safety and security of our airport operations.
Key Responsibilities- Emergency Response: Respond to aircraft and structural fires, as well as other emergencies, to prevent or extinguish fires and rescue crew and passengers.
- Firefighting Operations: Participate in firefighting operations, including applying foam on fuel spills, operating turrets, hoses, and nozzles to suppress fires, and regularly checking mechanical, hydraulic, and powered entry tools for proper operation.
- Rescue and Evacuation: Participate in removal of trapped or injured aircraft crew and passengers, using forcible entry power tools, and assist in evacuation of accident victims to a safe location for further treatment/assessment.
- Fire Prevention and Safety: Regularly inspect airport facilities and equipment to identify potential fire hazards and take corrective action to prevent fires.
- Experience: At least one (1) year of experience working in fire rescue services.
- Qualifications: Qualified in NFPA 1001 – Firefighter I and II, NFPA 1003 – Airport Firefighter, NFPA 1002 – Fire Apparatus, Driver/Operator, and NFPA 472 – Hazardous Materials.
- Certifications: First Responder Operational level certification.
