This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Parsons Oman as a Senior Traffic Engineer. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a critical role in delivering major highways and infrastructure projects in Riyadh City.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee traffic signal and junction designs to ensure effective communication and collaboration with the project team.
  • Develop and manage the scope of each traffic engineering design task, including creating schedules and establishing budgets.
  • Provide regular project updates to the project manager, including reporting on milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Presentation of technical results and recommendations utilizing expertise in traffic engineering.
  • Lead the project team in preparing traffic engineering plans, including signal designs and ITS designs.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct and document traffic studies, evaluating traffic patterns and assessing safety measures.
  • Assist engineers in developing technical approaches for traffic engineering projects and reviewing technical results.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers.
