Job Title: Project Manager - Industrial Digital Solutions

Job Summary:

Giza Systems is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead key clients' projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
  2. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of the project.
  3. Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project.
  4. Communicate with the Head of PM and presales team to understand the project being evaluated.
  5. Work with the contracts team to review the client contract before signing.
  6. Manage the handover process from the bidding team to the operations team.
  7. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives.
  8. Prepare the detailed project time plan with a detailed time schedule.
  9. Ensure that all risks are identified and applicable action plans are acknowledged by all.
  10. Monitor the progress of the project and manage the day-to-day activities within the project.
  11. Represent Giza Systems in all meetings and communications with client representatives.
  12. Ensure continuous and periodical communication between all stakeholders of the project.
  13. Manage proactively all challenges and issues that might be raised in the middle of the project.
  14. Coordinate with procurement, purchasing, and logistics regarding all material ordering and delivery.
  15. Review and undertake quality assurance on all client deliverables.
  16. Follow up on stage approvals with the client and compile acceptance sheets.
  17. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  18. Monitor the invoicing on a project and notify the Finance of all necessary interim invoices.
  19. Support and ensure the collection of revenue with the client.
  20. Follow and ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures & financial systems.
  21. Highlight areas of slippage and identify/initiate corrective action.
  22. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  23. Report and escalate to management as needed.
  24. Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  25. Ensure project revenue/cash status matches planned for both In/Out.
  26. Manage the relationship with the client and ensure proper communication is maintained.
  27. Update the Account Manager on a regular basis on the progress and development of the Project.
  28. Review with the Head of PM and the Region Operations Manager the progress of the project.
  29. Manage the relationship with the suppliers and key subcontractors.
  30. Review the time plan of subcontractors and intervene whenever needed.
  31. Ensure that all internal stakeholders are aware of their important role in the project.
  32. Allocate resources on the project, assign work to the team, and monitor the progress of the team.
  33. Manage the staff chargeability and all other project costs and expenses.
  34. Assess the training needs of the team within projects.
  35. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  36. Manage customer correspondences and be accountable for all project important documents.
  37. Accountable for documenting the progress of the project and keep track of the progress against planned/required.
  38. Manage the transfer of knowledge of the technical deliverables to the client – if applicable.
  39. Prepare and submit monthly project progress reports.
  40. Develop a lessons learned log to maintain customer/industry/technology knowledge.

Requirements:

  1. 7-10 years of experience in a project management position in a relevant field.
  2. Proven working experience in project management.
  3. Project Management Professional (PMP) or another PM certification is a must.
  4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  5. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & MS Project.

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering with a Specialization in Communication or Computer.
