You will make an impact by:

  1. Developing and implementing commercial and industrial sales strategies within designated areas to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
  2. Generating demand at end users through direct calls or cooperation with selected channel partners, visiting targeted electrical contractors/installers and EPC companies in focus market segments, building strong relationships with engineering and construction firms.
  3. Maintaining a thorough understanding of 3M cable accessory products and their applications to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
  4. Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth in the Electrical Markets.
  5. Collaborating with Channel, Marketing, and Application Engineering teams to gain market share and increase share of wallet at main distributors of low and medium voltage solutions.
  6. Executing medium voltage cable accessory local kitting strategy to enable broader and short lead-time for C&I offering through segment-relevant go-to portfolio and products for small, medium, and large capital projects.
  7. Leveraging working relationships with key people in focus sub-segments at all levels, influencing those contacts to increase perception of our high-tech value solution proposals (i.e., Splices, SCA) which aims to reduce total cost of ownership in order to increase share of wallet.

Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Saudi nationality is a must.
  2. Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering (completed and verified prior to start).
  3. Proven professional experience in Electrical product knowledge and in sales roles in the construction and MPE market.

  1. Strong business acumen and sales attitude for high value-added solutions.
  2. Ability to balance short and long sales cycles through key account management.
  3. Navigating complex customer organizations using communication and analytical skills.
  4. Willingness and curiosity to learn product tech contents and customer needs.
  5. Proactive, autonomous, dynamic personality aiming to change the status quo.
  6. Ability to respond rapidly and professionally in high-pressure environments.
  7. Experience in identifying opportunities through market intelligence.
  8. Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.
  9. Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM would be an asset.
  10. Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Job specifics:

  1. Location: Position to be based in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  2. Travel expectations - May include up to 70-80% [domestic].
  3. Working pattern – Full Time.
  4. Relocation package is not authorized for this position.
