Job Summary:

  • Serve guest orders: Serve guest orders according to restaurant standards and ensure that all orders are accurate and complete.
  • Record transactions: Record transactions and orders in the Point of Sales terminal promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff: Communicate order details to the kitchen staff, including VIP requests and special instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization: Ensure cleanliness and organization in work areas, including chinaware, silverware, and glassware, and maintain the overall presentability of the restaurant.
  • Review order dockets: Review order dockets to ensure accurate preparation for orders and present the final bill to guests for payment processing.
  • Check accuracy of bills: Check the accuracy of bills/checks before presenting them to customers or processing payments.
  • Complete shift closing procedures: Complete shift closing procedures on the Point of Sales terminal, including reconciling cash and credit card settlements.
  • Maintain brand standards: Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Perform closing duties: Perform closing duties, such as restocking items and generating closing reports.
  • Conduct equipment inspections: Conduct routine inspections of all outlet equipment to ensure proper working condition and report any repair or maintenance needs.
  • Coach and develop junior staff: Actively participate in coaching and developing junior staff members.
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities: Fulfill any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in food and beverage services.
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage: Good knowledge of food and beverage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Outstanding communication, interpersonal and exceptional guest service skills.
