**Role Overview:**

The SAS Engineer and Technical Leader will be responsible for overseeing the installation, commissioning, and services of substation automation systems. This includes leading commissioning activities, interfacing with customers and external providers, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead Commissioning Activities: Act as the lead for commissioning activities on a project, ensuring that Schneider Electric is presented as a professional organization in all interactions with the customer.
  2. Interface with Customers and External Providers: Interface with customers and external providers for approval of plant acceptance criteria, open issues closure, and performance tests.
  3. Sales Support: Assist in preparing proposals or presentations of engineering projects or programs, provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.
  4. Contract Management: Support contract managers in issuing claims for new or changes in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.
  5. Ensuring Adherence to Safety Standards: Plan and control: Create work plans and cost estimates in one's area of responsibility.
  6. Risk and Opportunity Management: Conduct risk and opportunity assessments in real-time during the commissioning phase.
  7. Customer Interaction: Report any contract, quality, program, or cost issues to management along with recommendations for resolution.
  8. Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the supply chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed to with potential suppliers.
  9. Technical Leadership and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain a network of engineering professionals and share engineering best practices across different projects and disciplines.
  10. Processes and Tools: Develop, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and tools.
