About the Opportunity:

">Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Service Excellence Manager to join our pre-opening team at Kimpton Riyadh, the first Kimpton hotel in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in similar roles within international luxury hotel chains and be able to cultivate a work environment that is exceptional, inclusive, and empowering.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to the stewarding team, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  2. Cleanliness and Sanitation Standards: Develop and implement high cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring all kitchen and back-of-house areas meet hotel expectations.
  3. Inventory and Supplies Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies, ensuring the stewarding team has the necessary resources to perform their duties efficiently.
  4. Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs of kitchen equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance.
  5. Waste Management and Recycling: Develop and implement effective waste management and recycling programs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and hotel policies.
  6. Health and Safety Protocols: Establish and maintain robust health and safety protocols, ensuring the stewarding team understands their responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
  7. Staff Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the stewarding team, enhancing their skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  8. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards.
  9. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with other departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to achieve shared goals.
  10. Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare accurate and timely reports on stewarding operations, maintaining a record of key performance indicators and trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher Education Qualification: In Hotel Administration or Business Administration from a reputable institution.
  • Two to Three Years' Experience: Prior tenure in a similar role within an international luxury hotel chain, preferably in the GCC region.
  • International Luxury Hotel Chain Background: Proven track record of working in a high-end hotel environment.
  • GCC Exposure: Strong understanding of the local market and ability to adapt to cultural nuances.
  • English Fluency: Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English required.
  • Arabic Fluency Preferred: Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic, a plus.
