About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Sales Specialist to join our team at Nutanix, Inc. As a key member of our Modern Applications and Data Go-to-Market team, you will play a crucial role in selling our Cloud Native solutions and Data platforms to Federal Government customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic regional plans to effectively sell Cloud Native solutions to Public Sector customers
  • Create, develop, qualify, negotiate, and close Public Sector business opportunities to achieve pipeline and revenue objectives
  • Establish trusted relationships at all levels in large government environments to maintain the health of the assigned territory
  • Navigate large Federal Government organizations, IT systems, and cloud environments to find opportunity, define requirements, and propose solutions
  • Understand Public Sector requirements and represent them to our product, support, and executive teams to help us build world-class products
  • Envision and execute marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness
  • Take responsibility for responding promptly to RFPs and following up with prospects to ensure a seamless sales process
  • Form, lead, and inspire cross-functional teams, including partners, to close new business, maintain the existing customer base, and enable maximum customer success
Requirements
  • 10+ years of US Federal Government sales experience
  • Track record of success selling database licenses and services to the US Federal Government
  • Experience working with partners in the territory
  • Experience demonstrating a strong level of expertise required to sell Nutanix products and services
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
