Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials to verify compliance with quality specifications and standards.
- Oversight of production processes to ensure adherence to established quality guidelines and procedures.
- Perform dimensional measurements, functional assessments, and comparisons against specifications.
- Proactively identify deviations from quality standards, including defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities.
- Accurate documentation of detected defects, including their nature, location, and severity, for analysis and corrective action.
- Suggest improvements to production processes to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency.
- Detailed reporting for the quality manager, summarizing inspection findings, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaboration with production teams and quality assurance personnel to ensure consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Regular audits of suppliers to assess their quality control practices and ensure compliance with our standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in quality control is preferred.
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or in a similar role within the fabric or textile industry.
- Proficiency in using quality testing tools and equipment.
- Deep understanding of quality control standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
