Operations Team Lead - Riyadh

Job Overview:

This role is a part of our Business Development Operations team. As an Operations Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales pipeline across various industries and markets, coordinating team efforts, and managing the RFP process.

  • Manage the region's sales pipeline ensuring accurate records and timely updates.
  • Support the Business Development Manager in strategic responsibilities aligning business development activities with organizational goals.
  • Lead the Business Development support team in Riyadh.
  • Coordinate with different industries on the end-to-end bidding cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with the RFP process for proposal submissions.
  • Serve as the focal point and escalation contact between the Business Development team and stakeholders.
  • Manage market inboxes and distribution lists.
  • Assist in registering Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. as a new vendor and register in client portals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide critical administrative support including document preparation and email monitoring.
  • Participate in problem-solving during the tendering process.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in business management, administration or related field is necessary. At least 2 years of experience in team management and 3 years' experience in a similar role are required. Knowledge of the tender process and familiarity with RFP requirements in GCC regions are advantageous.

Skills:

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. Project management skills are beneficial.

Attributes:

A team-oriented individual able to work with diverse personalities and working styles is required. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to prepare and analyze data and metrics are also necessary. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively are essential.
