Job Purpose:

The Internal Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our operations. This position will be responsible for conducting audits, providing consulting services, and developing the annual audit plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Evaluate Risk Areas: Assist in identifying and evaluating the company's risk areas and provide input to the development of the annual audit plan.
  • Conduct Audit Procedures: Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting auditee's processes and procedures for audit purposes.
  • Communicate Results: Communicate or assist in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management and the Audit Committee.
  • Develop Relationships: Develop and maintain productive relationships with the auditee and staff through individual contacts and company meetings.
  • Pursue Professional Development: Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and share information gained with coworkers.
  • Represent Internal Audit: Represent internal audit on organizational project teams and at management meetings.
  • Perform Related Work: Perform related work as assigned by audit management.
  • Maintain Professional Standards: Maintain all the company's professional and ethical standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
  • Certifications: Preferably CIA, CPA, CFE.
  • Experience: 2-3 Years' Experience in audit or risk management duties (Multi-national company is preferable).
Skills:
  • Computer Applications: Basic knowledge of common computer applications e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc. to prepare reports, memos, summaries, and analyses.
  • Communication Skills: Skill in effective verbal and written communications (English and Arabic), including active listening skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with coworkers, staff, and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment.
