As a Lateral Transfer Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for protecting the community and enforcing laws and ordinances.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Enforce laws and ordinances to maintain public safety
* Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
* Conduct investigations and gather evidence
* Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and resources

**Requirements:**

* Currently employed with a minimum of one year of full-time peace officer experience
* Previously employed within the last twelve months as a full-time peace officer
* Ohio State Certified Law Enforcement Agency in a jurisdiction in the State of Ohio
* Completed the probationary period at that employment
* Physical condition to perform the essential functions of the job
* 21 years of age, but less than 41 years of age at time of appointment
* Valid Ohio driver's license
* Certified by the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) or present to the Commission an OPOTA letter of training equivalency
* No criminal record other than minor traffic violations

**Benefits:**

* Competitive salary range: $68,350-$87,235/annually ($32.86-$41.94/hourly)
