About the Role

This position is open to KSA Nationals only.

Alpin Limited, a leading multidisciplinary built-asset consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consultant to join its team in Masdar City.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the built environment sector, with a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in sustainability and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct energy modeling services using IES VE, Design Builder, and eQUEST;
  • Perform daylighting and thermal comfort modeling;
  • Collaborate with the Sustainability team to develop and implement sustainable solutions;
  • Provide clients with energy conservation measures and solutions to meet their targets;
  • Familiarize yourself with Net-Zero standards;
  • Lead and conduct sustainability-related site audits;
  • Participate in global and local projects, such as sustainable building projects and operational efficiency initiatives;
  • Quality control and review of reports;
  • Support business development efforts;
  • Contribute to the company's rapid growth plans;
  • Site and office-based consultancy;
  • Coordinate with contractors, including MEP and Civil engineers;
  • Conduct product and technology research related to sustainability;
  • Develop skills necessary for promotion and growth within the company.
HSE Roles, Responsibilities, and Accountability
  • Familiarize yourself with ALPIN's Integrated Management System and contribute to minimizing your individual environmental impact;
  • Act within the legal responsibilities imposed upon you and the Company's Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety policies;
  • Familiarize yourself with the Company's Integrated Management System's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with clients and consultants;
  • Background within the built environment sector (3-6 years);
  • Working knowledge of MEP, Construction Management, and Design;
  • Strong knowledge of current sustainability standards: LEED, BREEAM, Green Star, QSAS, or Estidama;
  • At least 3 years' experience of energy modeling using IES (preferable also with experience using other software packages);
  • LEED AP / Estidama PQP / BREEAM AP / GSAS CGP preferred;
  • Fluent written and spoken English;
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (Environmental, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture);
  • GCC experience;
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment;
  • Strong communication skills (written, electronic, and spoken);
  • Applicants for KSA National only.
Additional Experience/Certifications
  • Hands-on engineering and project management skills;
  • Arabic language;
  • KSA Driver's license;
  • Own transportation is a plus;
  • Passport allowing for efficient regional travel.
