Job Title: Chief Information Officer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer to lead our technology strategy and drive digital transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement ICT Strategy: Establish a comprehensive ICT strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and drives digital transformation.
  2. Lead Technology Direction: Provide technological guidance and direction to the organization, ensuring that technology solutions support business objectives.
  3. Manage IT Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including directing staff who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications, and other IT functions.
  4. Project Management: Assess and anticipate technology projects, recommend appropriate action and resources, and ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead extensive work teams, collaborate with administration, department managers, and manufacturing representatives to exchange information, present new approaches, and discuss equipment/system changes.
  6. Vendor Contract Negotiations: Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software purchased for the corporation.
  7. Cost-Benefit Analysis: Create a cost-benefit analysis and support a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows.
  8. Internet and Computer Operations: Oversee Internet and computer operations, ensuring seamless and secure access to technology resources.

Requirements:

  1. Education: First degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; a postgraduate degree or MBA with ICT focus will be an important addition.
  2. Certifications: Relevant Certifications in ICT and Project Management related field.
  3. Experience: Not less than 15 years experience in ICT in large organizations with multiple business portfolios and diversified business activities.
  4. Leadership and Organizational Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience in leading extensive work teams.
  5. Project Management Skills: Strong track record in delivering projects related to ICT and demonstrating strong project management skills.
  6. Business Acumen: Familiarity with business principles and techniques of administration, organization, and management, including an in-depth understanding of the key business issues that exist in a multi-business environment featuring contracting, trading, services, and manufacturing with strong exposure to business process analysis and redesign.
  7. Technical Skills: Knowledge of systems design and development processes, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation, evaluation, and operational management.
