Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop user interfaces that effectively communicate design concepts and are aligned with project requirements.
  • Geospatial Data Integration: Work with different geospatial data formats, including orthophotos, point clouds, and GIS data, to design interfaces that can effectively display and interact with these data formats.
  • User Experience Optimization: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and improve the user experience, analyze user feedback and data to iterate on designs and enhance application usability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to define and implement innovative solutions, communicate design ideas and prototypes to team members and clients effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and others to create design assets, ensure front-end designs are implemented accurately by collaborating with the development team, stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to geospatial applications.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on geospatial or data-intensive applications.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work, particularly involving geospatial data, proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools, experience working with geospatial data formats such as orthophotos, point clouds, and GIS data, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
