Center of Excellence Lead – Integration Center of Excellence

The Integration Center of Excellence Lead is accountable for establishing and managing the Integration Center of Excellence within a public sector organization. This role is crucial in driving the strategy, standards, and practices for a new integration platform and systems integrations, ensuring seamless communication between various systems and applications.
The lead is responsible for ensuring that integration projects are aligned with business goals and technology strategies, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and agility.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive integration strategy that supports the organization's goals and digital transformation initiatives.
- Standards and Best Practices: Establish and promote integration standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality integration solutions.
- Governance and Compliance: Oversee governance processes to ensure that integration projects comply with internal policies and public sector regulator's guidelines.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of integration specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that integration solutions deliver business value.
- Training & Development: Prepare training program structure, deliver internal training sessions & awareness sessions, & manage community of practitioners.
- Technology Oversight: Evaluate and recommend integration technologies and tools that align with the organization's architecture and technology roadmap.
- Project Oversight: Manage the portfolio of integration projects, ensuring solutions alignment with approved integration best practices & standards, timely delivery within budget and scope.
- Performance Measurement: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess solution compliance with standards and best practice, and effectiveness of integration solutions.
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Operating Center of Excellence: Prior experience of establishing and running Center of Excellence and increasing maturity of the organization.
- Experience: Extensive experience in IT and systems integration, with a proven track record in leading integration projects and initiatives.
- Knowledge of Integration Technologies: Familiarity with a broad range of integration tools, platforms, and standards.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems and processes to identify integration opportunities and challenges.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and rapidly changing business environments.
