Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Donation Center Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for accepting donations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness of our donation centers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Donation Acceptance: Accept donations according to guidelines, provide excellent customer service, and accurately complete donation receipts.
  2. Site Maintenance: Maintain the interior and exterior of the donation center in a clean and organized manner, including sweeping the perimeter, storing donations neatly, and emptying and maintaining the cleanliness of the Unattended Donation Center (UDC).
  3. Administrative Tasks: Accurately complete daily administrative tasks, including daily counts of donors, sorting and submitting donation receipts, and submitting daily tally sheets.
  4. Donation Security: Safeguard all donations and company property from damage and theft, treating all donations and company property with respect and care.
  5. Communication: Communicate accurately and in a timely manner with supervisors and coordinators regarding supply needs, unusual situations, and safety concerns.
  6. Donation Loading: Safely and accurately load donations into bins and organize them inside of the donation trailers.
  7. Truck Assistance: Assist Truck Helpers and Truck Drivers in loading donations into Goodwill trucks, if needed.
  8. Dispatch Communication: Communicate daily with Dispatch to inform them of current product volumes and any transportation/service needs.
Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Six months to one year customer service related experience
