Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Source indirect materials, including capital projects, to meet Emerson's needs while minimizing risk.
  2. Collaborate with regional stakeholders to drive localization initiatives and manage regional sourcing activities.
  3. Work closely with finance to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  4. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
  5. Monitor and report on supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  6. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and commitment to Emerson's Code of Ethics.

You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or general business.
  • 2-3 years' relevant work experience in a matrix organization, supporting supply chain functions.
  • Good knowledge of in-Kingdom supplier bases and proven track records of delivering savings.
  • Involvement in direct negotiations with suppliers.
  • Exposure to e-sourcing platforms and setting up RFQs. Ariba experience is preferred.
  • ERP - Oracle / JD Edwards experience is preferred.
  • CIPS (beneficial but not essential).
