Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate inspections of new and existing facilities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
  • Monitor non-destructive testing examination results to identify defects, corrosion, and mechanical damage, and make recommendations for repair or replacement.
  • Perform equipment inspections, including the use of specialized tools and equipment, to ensure continued safe operation.
  • Review and comment on revisions to industry standards and quality control programs.
  • Perform in-depth design reviews to verify conformance to company engineering standards and specifications.
  • Write detailed inspection reports, worksheets, and non-compliance reports, and maintain accurate records of on-site inspection findings.
  • Train Lasifa International personnel on inspection procedures and industry standards.
  • Review inspection waiver requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • 15 years of industrial construction experience, including 10 years of inspection-related experience in a given inspection specialty.
  • Engineering or technical school graduate of mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector or equivalent certification.
