Asterix Communications is seeking a highly experienced Marine & Offshore Operations Manager to lead our M&O activities in Saudi Arabia & Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profit & loss accountability, achieving financial objectives, and identifying strategic business activities to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational excellence, quality, and client satisfaction through effective management and development of the team.
  • Ensure best allocation of resources, management, and development of the team to achieve business objectives.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars for local clients in liaison with operational management KSA and M&O MER management.
  • Ensure regular and effective communication with M&O Regional Chief Executive, Middle East Region.
  • Ensure compliance with Group and Business Line guidelines and procedures, including requirements of HSSE and People, Culture & CSR and Budget & finance management.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Marine Engineering or equivalent; master's degree in business administration is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership role in marine & offshore industry OR senior management experience in a class company.
  • Familiar with International, National, and Classification Society Rules and regulations that apply or are proposed for application to Marine and Offshore environments.
  • Possess knowledge and practical experience in contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Ability to identify, initiate, analyze, and develop proposals and solutions to a wide range of M&O Technical and Operational issues.
  • Good communication, networking, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build high performing teams, setting strategy and direction.
  • Self-motivated with proven team leadership and HR, Finance, HSSE management capabilities.
