About the Role

The Safety Manager at Jadeer Logistics Company plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the organization's standards for quality, health, safety, and environmental management. This position involves developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, ensuring adherence to local, national, and international standards and legislation.
  2. Lead internal and external QHSE audits, coordinating with various departments to ensure readiness and compliance, and addressing any findings with corrective actions.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification processes across all operations, implementing risk mitigation and management strategies to minimize occupational health and safety risks.
  4. Design and deliver QHSE training programs to all employees, fostering a culture of safety and awareness throughout the organization.
  5. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, compiling detailed reports and implementing lessons learned to prevent future occurrences.
  6. Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and present findings to senior management.
  7. Estimate testing efforts, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  8. Support the implementation of cost, quality, and service improvement initiatives.
  9. Provide internal training to ensure QA standards are taught and implemented.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a safety manager.
  2. Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines and regulations.
  3. Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies.
  4. Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
  5. Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
  6. Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Working Conditions

As per contract and as per company operation requirement.
