Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in procedures, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with various departments to fulfill guest needs and special requests, such as room service, housekeeping, or maintenance.
  • Manage VIP guest experiences, including personalized greetings, room preparations, and special arrangements.
  • Conduct daily guest satisfaction checks and compile feedback reports for management review.
  • Assist with guest check-out procedures and gather feedback on their stay.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update information in the hotel management system.
  • Organize and coordinate special events or activities for guests, such as birthday celebrations or anniversary surprises.
  • Provide concierge services, including restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations.
  • Stay informed about hotel policies, services, and local area information to address guest questions effectively.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance guest service skills and knowledge.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in guest relations, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of local customs, attractions, and services in Jeddah and surrounding areas.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality settings is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
