About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing and Business Development Manager for the Middle East, as well as other team members, to contribute to a wide range of marketing, business development, and communications activities in the regional offices.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the firm's practices, lawyers, and client base, focusing primarily on the Middle East region.
  • Establish strong relationships with key Middle East attorneys, serving as their primary point of contact for day-to-day requests and marketing/business development needs.
  • Support regional offices in drafting pitches, proposals, and RFPs by identifying relevant content, editing existing material, and formatting drafts.
  • Coordinate and draft submissions for practice and attorney rankings, surveys, and awards.
  • Provide PR support, including drafting press releases, internal/external communication, client updates, and other communication.
  • Maintain content for regional social media sites, drafting posts and captions for posting.
  • Offer event support, including preparing event materials and conference book ads.
  • Assist in planning and executing client events, seminars, and webinars, including drafting invitations, maintaining registration lists, coordinating logistical arrangements, liaising with event vendors, and providing on-site support as needed.
  • Support attorney on-boarding and integration.
  • Collaborate with marketing professionals across the firm, including the communications team, marketing research team, RFP team, events team, and creative teams, as needed.
  • Support Client Relationship Managers, Shareholders, and Marketing Managers with daily tasks, such as scheduling internal team meetings, requesting client-focused research, updating activity reports, and reviewing other client-related news and data.
  • Work with the marketing research team to gather research and analysis on targets, industries, and judges, as needed for business development purposes.
  • Manage mailing lists, create spreadsheets, and track administrative duties as assigned.
  • Provide backup services to the marketing department as needed.
  • Assist with and manage short- and long-term projects and attorney requests.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business professionals throughout the firm, across functions and teams.
