Business Development Manager

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Seoul, Korea. As a key member of our Amazon Global Selling team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing scalable recruitment programs to target Korean manufacturers, brands, and individual sellers involved in export e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Recruitment Programs: Design and execute effective recruitment strategies to introduce Korean products on Amazon's global marketplaces, leveraging your expertise in sales and marketing to drive growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with External Entities: Build strong relationships with government agencies, industry associations, service providers, manufacturers, and seller communities to drive growth across Amazon's 20+ marketplaces worldwide.
- Engage with Diverse Stakeholders: Effectively communicate Amazon's Global Selling value proposition to a variety of contacts, including external partners and potential sellers, to drive business growth and expansion.
- Coordinate with Internal Teams: Collaborate with Amazon's cross-regional teams, program and category managers, and other internal stakeholders to align strategies and ensure successful program implementation.
- Enhance Seller Experience: Leverage the Service Provider Network and build relationships with Government Officials to improve the overall seller experience by providing training and seminars on export processes and securing initial subsidy support to lower entry barriers for qualified new sellers.
- Expand Global Outreach: Contribute to the expansion of Amazon Global Selling's outreach by introducing unique Korean selections across Amazon's platforms and supporting sellers in building international brands.
- Monitor and Report Progress: Track the progress of recruitment and engagement initiatives, providing regular updates and insights to ensure alignment with business goals and continuous improvement of strategies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of inside sales experience
- Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
