Main Purpose of Job:

The primary objective of a Supply Chain Planner is to ensure that the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right time, and at the right cost to meet customer demand and maximize profitability. This is achieved by guaranteeing that all branches/warehouses have the right quantity with committed quality on a daily basis through:

  • Reviewing available stock and days of supply.
  • Analyzing actual sales reports in coordination with the logistics department.
  • Creating the production and dispatch plan with close follow-up.
  • Ensuring stock covers target days of supply.
  • Material planning to meet required production volumes based on forecasts in collaboration with procurement and supplier communication.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Demand Planning:
    • Collect and analyze regional forecasts, sales forecasts, warehouse available space, and production capacity.
    • Conduct detailed forecast analysis per SKU to improve demand planning.
    • Update the DSP KPIs, monitor, conduct root cause analysis, and take corrective and preventive actions.
    • Analyze data and review to ensure compliance with planning processes and company standards.
  2. Analyze sales trends and identify key drivers of sales for key products and product groups to ensure proper production and material planning.
  3. Maintain stock cover for both finished goods and raw & packaging materials at optimum inventory levels to mitigate risks of bad goods and stockouts.
  4. Prepare statistical forecasts for sales forecasting processes and improve demand planning accuracy.
  5. Plan production based on available stocks, capacity, demand, and actual sales trends.
  6. Material planning based on available material stock, demand, actual sales trends, warehouse capacity, and material shelf life to maintain optimum inventory levels and costs.
  7. Oversee supply/dispatch planning to ensure stock balancing and minimize bad goods.
  8. Play a key role in communication between commercial and technical sides regarding volumes.
Key Experiences:
  • BS college degree in Engineering/Business/Marketing or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Supply Chain knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP in DSP/APO.
  • Demand and Supply Planning knowledge and experience.
