Job Title: Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Commercial

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Commercial to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies, identifying business opportunities, and providing data for reporting and planning.

Job Purpose

The Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Commercial will be responsible for analyzing and supporting the development and execution of underwriting, automation, and operational strategies to efficiently manage the portfolio. You will also be responsible for maintaining existing customers by utilizing creative problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop service proposals to gain new profitable accounts by utilizing CRM to manage and retain sales.
  2. Manage customer negotiation processes and improve existing work process flows.
  3. Analyze and support development and execution of underwriting, automation, and operational strategies to efficiently manage the portfolio.
  4. Maintain existing customers by utilizing creative problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve issues.
  5. Utilize CRM software to build rapport and business relationships with key account managers in local business entities.
  6. Follow loans from origination to closings.
  7. Pull Medicare EOBs for secondary insurances.
  8. Create PowerPoint presentations as training tools for new associates.
  9. Install HVAC, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  10. Identify coding or billing problems from EOBs and work to correct errors.
  11. Reconcile and process loss proceeds claims, UCC filings, and process the release of liens.
  12. Operate a variety of high-speed equipment including currency scanners, coin sorters, and check encoders.
  13. Ensure that all orders and RFPs for booking meet Philips legal, product, and internal guidelines.
  14. Analyze and repair equipment, change filters in HVAC units, maintain grounds, and resolve equipment problems.
Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting or finance qualification (e.g., CPA, SOCPA, CA, CFA, ACCA).
  • Knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles.
  • Minimum of 5 years total experience, including experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or HVAC industries.
  • Experience in a dynamic high-volume transactional environment.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and SAP Cloud Analytics (SAC) preferred.

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to visualize and produce financial models from scratch.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
  • Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to handle multiple competing priorities while maintaining a big picture view.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and scrutinize financial information.
  • Organizational capability and a pleasing, proactive personality.
