Key Responsibilities:

  • Design robust, scalable, and secure application architectures, documenting architectural decisions, patterns, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, security, and operations, to ensure architectural alignment and smooth implementation.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to development teams, promoting architectural best practices and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure that modernized application architectures comply with security standards, regulations, and industry best practices, proactively addressing security vulnerabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to evolve and refine application architecture practices, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience +8 as an Application Architect, focusing on application architecture modernization.
  • Deep understanding of modern application architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, microservices architecture, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
  • Proficiency in architecting and designing scalable, resilient, and secure systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive architectural analysis and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with DevOps practices. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
