  • Develop and implement cost planning and benchmarking strategies to ensure consistency of cost and commercial management across numerous projects within the programme.
  • Provide oversight and governance responsibilities of cost and commercial management, including cost reporting, cashflow reporting, procurement and contract reporting, and claims reporting.
  • Develop and improve project cost and commercial databases to accurately track and control commercial statuses.

Requirements
  1. Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business.
  2. Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
  3. Professional membership or working towards i.e. MRICS/RICS, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  4. Developed commercial and financial acumen.
  5. Advanced experience of working with large cost data sets.
  6. Knowledge of value engineering, contract law, and contractual frameworks relating to construction.
  7. Experience leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams.
  8. Developing experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  9. A demonstrable structured approach to quality assurance and quality control of work output.
Desirable Skills
  1. Strong experience in mixed-use developments, including hospitality, residential, and cultural projects.
  2. Excellent data management skills, including Microsoft Excel, use of advanced formulas, and pivot tables.
  3. Experience in PowerPivot, PowerQuery, and DAX.
  4. Experience of working within a PMO office.
  5. In-country experience is highly sought after due to client requirements.
  6. Ability to engage effectively across all levels of stakeholders, including contractors, PMCs, and Client teams.
