Job Title: Senior Operations Manager Water Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager Water Management to join our team at Egis Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall management of our water management operations, including the oversight and management of service providers, data collection and management, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee and manage the delivery of operations and maintenance activities for our water management systems, including TSE and irrigation networks, pump stations, controllers, IMMS systems, and SMART metering.
  • Service Provider Management: Manage the selection, oversight, and performance evaluation of service providers conducting operations and maintenance activities.
  • Data Management: Collect, manage, and analyze data related to water management operations, including water usage, quality, and treatment.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to water management operations.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures for water management operations, including emergency response plans and risk management strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of operations and maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, municipalities, government agencies, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues and problems, including equipment failures, water quality issues, and other emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a relevant field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations and maintenance management, including experience with TSE and irrigation networks, pump stations, controllers, IMMS systems, and SMART metering.
  • Skills: Strong operations and maintenance skills, with the ability to oversee and manage the delivery of operations and maintenance activities. Effective team player, able to interact and contribute to all team activities. Ability to motivate others and achieve results through direct reports and external suppliers.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The candidate will be required to travel to various locations, including construction sites and client offices.
