About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Perfect Vision. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. HR Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  2. Employee Support: Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR-related matters, including compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations.
  3. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
  4. Employee Records Management: Administer and maintain accurate employee records, files, and documentation, including personnel files, attendance records, and employee data.
  5. Training and Development: Assist in the planning and execution of employee training and development programs, including the coordination of workshops and seminars.
  6. Recruitment and Selection: Participate in the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and extending job offers.
  7. Compensation and Benefits: Manage the company's compensation and benefits programs, including processing payroll, administering employee insurance and retirement plans, and handling employee inquiries.
  8. Employee Grievances: Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances, and recommend appropriate actions to management.
  9. Performance Management: Conduct employee performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to help employees achieve their professional goals.
  10. Employee Engagement: Assist in the planning and implementation of employee engagement and retention initiatives, such as recognition programs and team-building activities.
  11. HR Best Practices: Stay informed about changes in labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends, and recommend updates to policies and procedures as needed.
  12. Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with the organization's objectives.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Professional Certification: Professional HR certification, such as SHRM-CP or HRCI-CP, is preferred.
  3. Language Skills: Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Experience:

You will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a similar industry or environment. You should have demonstrated ability to handle a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.

Soft Skills:

  1. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  2. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address HR-related issues.
  3. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in maintaining records and data.
  4. Adaptability: Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing business needs and priorities.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
  6. Confidentiality: Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive employee information.

Technical Skills:

  1. HRIS: Proficient in the use of HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and other HR management software.
  2. Data Analysis: Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools to generate HR metrics and insights.
  3. Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  4. Employment Laws: Understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to HR management.
