Job Summary

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources in managing all HR functions to meet the company's strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a related field and preferably experience in a similar role. You must be computer literate and proficient in a computerized payroll system, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment and Hiring: Assist in the recruitment process and hiring of all front-line employees, ensuring that the company attracts and retains top talent.
  2. Employee Engagement: Coordinate and encourage sports and social activities on a regular basis to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  3. HR Budgeting: Participate in the preparation of the HR budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support business objectives.
  4. Employee Data Management: Maintain an up-to-date database of all employees, including their resumes and contact information.
  5. Induction and Orientation: Conduct induction and orientation programs for all new employees, ensuring that they are familiar with company policies and procedures.
  6. Employee Relations: Receive and handle employee complaints, suggestions, and queries in a fair and timely manner.
  7. HR Reporting: Assist the Director of Human Resources in preparing periodic reports, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  8. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with all departments to ensure that HR-related activities are aligned with business objectives.
  9. Employee Welfare: Assist the LIFE Committee in planning, organizing, and implementing employee sports, social, and welfare activities.
