About the Role

Splonline is seeking a highly skilled Government Accounts Business Development Lead to lead the expansion of our existing portfolio of clients for government accounts. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of our clients and continuously proposing solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strong relationships with government clients to maximize sales growth and opportunities.
  • Identify potential opportunities in the marketplace to expand Splonline's business and reduce business risks.
  • Achieve defined sales targets quarterly to meet the annual sales target of Splonline.
  • Participate in developing strong internal cross-functional relationships to serve, solve, and manage complaints and client pain areas.
  • Resolve customer queries and provide support for the development of sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the government sector.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategy and planning, market insights, customer insights, and sales concepts knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
